It’s almost here! October 19-26, 2026

This election is about your future, your family, and the future of our community. As your candidate for Mayor, I am committed to bringing experienced leadership, accountability, and a people-first approach to Town Hall. I am asking for your support because I believe Ajax deserves leadership that listens, delivers results, and works every day to make life better for residents.

My name is Carion Fenn, and I have had the privilege of serving our community through leadership in healthcare, media, and charitable work. During the global pandemic, I helped provide governance and oversight for healthcare services supporting more than 750,000 residents across Durham Region as a member of the Board of Trustees and Quality Committee Chair at Lakeridge Health for five years. In this role, I contributed to the oversight of healthcare services with operating budgets ranging from $650 million to $990 million, supporting five hospitals, long-term care facilities, and mental health and addiction services. For the past nine years, I have also served as a Rogers TV host, providing a platform to inform, engage, and connect with our community. In addition, I founded and continue to lead the Carion Fenn Foundation, a registered charity based right here in the Town of Ajax.

Since 2015, the Foundation has supported individuals and families across Canada and internationally through health and wellness initiatives. Working alongside local businesses, community organizations, and grocery partners across Durham Region, we have helped provide more than $1 million in free food assistance to those in need. This has never been a paid initiative. It has always been a labour of love, driven by a commitment to helping address food insecurity and ensuring that families have access to the support they need.

With the support of our community and dedicated community partners, we have worked together to provide warm meals, groceries, clothing, footwear, and other essential resources to individuals and families experiencing hardship, including members of the homeless community. For more than a decade, through my registered charity, I have worked collaboratively with municipal, provincial, and federal governments to help improve the lives of those we serve.

Ajax has been part of my life since I was 19 years old. It is where I built my life, raised my family, and where future generations of my family will continue to call home. My eldest son pursued education in Fire Protection Engineering Technology, while my youngest son, an elite baseball player, is preparing for university with aspirations of becoming a lawyer or pursuing a professional baseball career.

I deeply cherish Ajax and the people who make our town such a special place to live, work, and raise a family.

This election is about more than choosing new leadership. It is about choosing strong, accountable leadership that will put residents first. We need a Mayor who understands the challenges families face every day, who will focus on affordability, responsible spending, reducing costs where possible, and ensuring growth and infrastructure planning make sense for our community.

We need leadership that will attract businesses and investment, create quality jobs, support local economic development, and ensure Ajax remains a place of opportunity for future generations. Most importantly, we need leadership that listens and puts people first.

I am running for every resident of Ajax. I am running to make life easier, more affordable, and more prosperous for you and your family.

I am asking for your trust and support to become the next Mayor of the Town of Ajax. I bring proven leadership, a clear vision for our future, accountability, and a lifetime commitment to serving our community. As your Mayor, I will work tirelessly to strengthen Ajax through responsible growth, investment in critical infrastructure, economic development, and a relentless focus on the needs of residents.

Through listening, hard work, advocacy, and decisive leadership, I will help ensure that Ajax remains a thriving, inclusive, safe, and prosperous community for all.

From October 19 to 26, 2026, I respectfully ask for your vote.

Vote Carion Fenn for Mayor of the Town of Ajax.

Together, let's build a stronger, more affordable, and more prosperous Ajax for everyone.
